Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at contact@applebrookducks.com before returning any item.
Exemptions
The 14-day right to cancel does not apply to the following:
- Hatching eggs — perishable goods whose quality can be affected by handling and transit, exempt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Live birds — once collected or delivered, live birds cannot be returned.
If your hatching eggs arrive damaged, please send us photographs of the damage and we will arrange replacements.
If you candle the eggs seven days after the start of incubation and less than 50% are fertilized (as shown by photographs), we will provide additional eggs at no extra cost.
If a live bird is significantly not as described at the point of collection or delivery, please contact us immediately and we will work to resolve the issue.
Returning an item
Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or not as described.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to appear, though in most cases it will be sooner.
Faulty or incorrect items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at contact@applebrookducks.com as soon as possible. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
